IT Secretary Jainder Singh Visits Chillibreeze Office , June 2008
One Shillong IT company had a special visitor on Thursday. While in Shillong for the Meghabytes Summit, the Secretary of the Ministry of Information Technology, Mr. Jainder Singh visited the office of Chillibreeze.
The photos below show a happy team of local guys and gals presenting their special guest with a poster showing their global customers.



Mr. Singh spent time getting to know some employees while learning about the work. He said, "This visit to Chillibreeze gives me a very warm feeling and hopefully it will bring more prosperity to the North East. I think you should change your company name from "Chillibreeze" to "warm breeze"."
He then inspected their office in the new Software Technology Park at Lumjingshai, before returning to the Meghabytes Summit being held at NEHU.
Why do you have events?
Every Saturday we have training session to improve our technical skills, soft skills and teamwork. Occasionally we hold this training outside the office to make it more fun.
Why do you do so much training?
The competitive nature of our business requires constant training and learning. This combined with the lack of experience of many of the people in NE requires a little extra training.
What is the schedule for 2008?
Adobe certification, leadership training, values teaching, writing and communication seminars and loads of other formal and informal training.
